What comes with static website hosting?

You get assigned 2GB of storage for your site, along with

a free hostname backed by cloudflare;

In what case would I want this?

Primarily it would be if you wanted to host

things like art, a protfolio, project display,

or a static endpoint. Such as for games or apps

that need to request a .txt from somewhere.

What comes with a Virtual Machine?

Typically there are 3 tiers, but the standard is

512MB RAM, 25GB HDD, 1vCPU, 500mbps UPLINK, along with

a free hostname backed by cloudflare, example is "yoursite.rjccs.net".

In what case would I have this?

If you wanted to host a web application.

This could be anything from being a chatroom,

an interactive site, special project,

ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN RUN ! (if you know linux)

What about my custom domain? Can I use a cloudflared tunnel?

Attaching a custom domain via Cloudflare?

If you want to run your website with cloudflare,

you can CNAME your site pointing to youruser.rjccs.net.

THIS IS FREE OF CHARGE.

Can I use cloudflared? (VM only)

Yes, using cloudflared is fully supported, and fully encouraged.

It allows custom subdomain management on your domain as well.
